In just a week, Revenge returns with a brand new episode, at long last. We have some clips to show you, which give us a pretty good idea of where things pick up and who may be in serious trouble.
Revenge Episode 17
Daniel's imprisonment sends Victoria to depths that no one thought possible, as the surprise return of a past love (James Purefoy as Dominik Wright) provides a destructive but welcome distraction from her family's struggles. Meanwhile, Jack's search for Amanda grows more desperate as he comes under suspicion for murder
Mentioned in ABC’s release for the episode, “Seeds of doubt could free Daniel from prison but destroy his faith in Emily.” Could Daniel be inching closer to learning the truth about Emily? Would she even consider telling him? I’d theorize that, but this clip, which has Emily chatting with Nolan about the whole situation, leads me to think Emily’s taking a step back from everything and will possibly be more closed off than ever... or at least, as closed off as she seemed when the series first started....

Revenge seems to be on a never-ending hiatus that I, for one, am extremely displeased about because the show is just too good to be off the air for so long! When we last made our trip to the Hamptons, the show revealed what really happened that night on the beach: Daniel did shoot Tyler during their argument on the beach, but Takeda was the one who actually killed him.
But Daniel is taking the fall for murder right now. The cops have arrested him and the judge has sentenced him to prison while awaiting trial, afraid that his family's resources could result in him skipping the country if he's let out on bail. Conrad and Victoria have hired an extremely excellent defence attorney (played by guest star Courtney B. Vance) who is looking into other suspects that could have killed Tyler, including the mysterious hooded man (Jack) and Fauxmanda.
But until the fancy lawyer can actually find another viable suspect, Daniel is going to have to get used to life behind bars on the next new episode of Revenge. His incarceration upsets Victoria greatly and she becomes even more depressed about the situation than anyone could have predicted. Unfortunately, an old friend played by James Purefoy arrives in town. While he proves to be a nice distraction, he also has a lot of information about Victoria that she would prefer remain hidden. Meanwhile, Jack has his own problems to deal with, including his continued search for Amanda and the fact that he's becoming a suspect in the case! It seems like a sketch done up of the mysterious hooded man on the beach just so happens to look a lot like our boy Jack.
